Hey
Just fitted my 8000k HID's on my Lexus IS200 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/wasim931/2788313706/
I was thinking of removing these and going for 10,000k as I think 8000k isnt blue enough - lol
What do you guys think?
Am I more likely to get pulled over by the police and fined for 10,000k?
Thanks!

I think anything over 8000K is asking for trouble, to be honest. Any higher than 8000K can only be a police vehicle. Just keep those 8000K or wait for some blue lights flashing with a siren behind you (the choice is yours)
Be safe.

Go for 12000K then you have purple lights, saw them once on an Astra and think only Prince (in a time long gone) would like these. And the police will only laugh at you......

I wouldn't recommend it as you probably would get stopped, plus you'll be getting much less light on the road. As much as I love the way my 8000Ks look, if I did it again I'd probably go for 4.3 or 6.5 as Rob says as they put more light on the road

The first HID kit I bought was a 6,000k colour temperature. I fitted these to my driving school car and thought they were great. After these went after about four years, I changed to a 4,300k colour temperature kit. You don't get the look of the projector HID lights but they are so much brighter. 4,300k is the ones to go for in my opinion.
