Good Morning,

I just bought bouhgt my IS200 99reg just over a week ago, when I bought it, it needed all brake pads changing, of which i got changed, also fitted brand new brake pad fitting kit which has been fitted.

Now i seem to have a strange noise coming from the front driver side wheel. when i am moving along, seems like a knocking noise.

Now there is sounds when I brake, but I belive this is due to new brake pads, but old discs.

not sure about the lexus as i aint done my pads yet but on some cars i serviced and put pads in the pads were a poor fit with no anti rattle clip and made a knocking sound as they rattled about. take wheel off and see if you can move the pads about with your fingers,
sometimes cheaper pads are false economy as you end up buying another set
