Hi everyone,

I owned a lexus 460 and the low tires pressure indicator is on. I checked the pressure and everything is OK. does anyone have this problem and how you can turn off the low tires pressure indicator. I live in Vietnam and there is no Lexus dealer here so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi

I'm sure I read somewhere about this being due to flat batteries in the wheel sensors, to replace them is very expensive, sorry haven't a clue how to turn it off....

If it is anything like on my LS430, which it probably isn't, in the drivers footwell underneath the knee airbag is a button with the word tyre just above it. Inflate your tyres to the recomended pressures and then hold the button till the screen gives you a message. Mine came on a couple of times on my last long drive. All tyre pressures were fine so I just reset the indicator. No problems since.

Just above the accelerator pedal are two buttons, one says tyre on it as well as a knob to adjust the beep level.
Press and hold the button till you hear a beep. At least 5 seconds. This will reset the pressure gauges.
Simple solution.

Or he could send the car over to me in the UK to look after until the fault goes away whistling.gif
