hi new member
i just got a is200 se love the car but when i brake just before the car comes to a stop the brake pedal shakes like the abs is coming on (AT LOW SPEED) any ideas why this happens

Have you had the wheels off to inpect the pad thickness etc?
Kwik-Fit do a free inspection. You haven't got to buy anything from them.........
(saves getting your hands dirty)

Sounds like a faulty ABS speed ring to me, if you don't know anything about it then your best to get it off to a garage .

sounds like neither.....
are you sure it is not just brake judder
the ring cannot be faulty, nor the sensor, otherwise a fault would be indicated, and the ABS, would not work

We had a car in recently without fault codes, the ABS still worked but it kicked in braking at low speeds, turned out to be the ABS ring on the driveshaft.

then surely all it needed was the castellations cleaning out.
its very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very difficult to damage the trigger ring on the Hubs, unless the trigger castellations sit outside of the hub
