I know this is a old topic but why do members not put their location on their profiles? we are not members of a secret society! just fill in the Town or even county. Maybe the folks in charge could change the new members registration so that the location field is mandatory and perheps existing members could be persuaded to edit their profiles.
I live in Devon and I have no idea if I am the only member down here.

I think it should still be left to members discretion.

But I will say it does help to know roughly where someone is especially when answering questions.

And when offering an invite to a meet etc, or even seeing them on the road!!.

I'm with Michael, even if it is only the county for the UK, or country for the rest.

It's pretty hard to make anything mandatory in a Club though!!

I think it's helpful to know where members are.... We could be helping each other out if we live close by.
If a member needed my help on something and lived nearby, I wouldn't have a problem going to see them and helping out....
