how about having a meet across the channel
a chance to meet our french members
stock up on the booze and fags
ferrys are cheap for day trips,
although it would be a long trip for some of the northern members, im sure the diehards could make it !!

That was more than just a day trip though (and therefore more expensive!)

Brilliant idea, Vote for

Will enjoy a lot to see you crossed the channel

Let me know what exactly you're seeking for, I can surely help you.
I could come for a day alone, not much because we're expecting a baby and my wife can't travel by car.

Calais, Dunkerque, Boulogne sur Mer
We can spot for a nice restaurant in the country side, will check for infos with some friends living up there.
We could choose a date and see how many people will cross the chanel

Wouldn't be a good sight after lexus just scooping a gold award for customer satisfaction!
Don't smoke, but absolutely drink! M.G.D. Anyone?

I had a look at the P&O website, currently the offers only run till end May, £25 peak time 12 hour day trip, £33 for up to 24 hours and £15 for an afternoon trip.
For a saturday in June it saying £106 so we'll probably have to wait a couple of weeks to book it.

We could set a date in June to aim for so everyone can keep that date free then book the tickets nearer the time.
Is Saturday or Sunday best for people? As someone pointed out a lot of shops are closed Sundays.
