Does anyone know the part number for these centre caps please ? They're for the 11-spoke alloys that were on some later IS200s.

I know it's not part number 42603-53060, which is a similar centre cap but is all-chrome.

ok, looks like no-one knows. My local Lexus dealer (well, Toyota parts dept actually) is ordering up two more different sets of wheel caps in an attempt to locate the correct ones. I will post if and when I get this sorted.

Yeah I'd be surprised if anyone knew the part number unless they've ordered them in the past. I believe there are three variations of those though from what I've seen at the dealers..............silver, dark grey and black.

ok, I cracked it. The part number is 42603-53090. These are the ones with a dark grey background. My dealer got in another set with a different part number which had a sort of dark-bluish background.

Have you got the standard 5 spoke alloys? Do these fit on those?
I've got the standard centre caps on my 18" styling kit alloys but have been considering getting some of these (but in silver) to go on those alloys but just want to check that these fit before getting some.
How much were they btw?

Wow didn't realise there would be so much interest !
They are approx 65mm across. The hole in the centre of my 11-spoke alloys (from eBay) is approx 60mm across.
The list price of them is £14.16 plus VAT each, but I managed to get that down to £11.04 plus VAT each.
Haven't checked if they will fit the 5-spoke alloys yet.

The all-silver ones (like this but the dark grey is chrome/silver too, with little concentric grooves in, I've seen these ones on some RXs) are cheaper, they list at £9.91 plus VAT each.

Reasonably pricey for little bits of plastic then, wish I'd thought of this when I did the cambelt service as they may have done a deal with them (as it was so damn expensive!)
Cheers for that, if you've still got the 5 spokes I'd be grateful if you could check if they fit

Yep. They're the same ones pictured in the original posting of this thread. I'm pretty sure the same ones are used on both the silver and anthracite 11-spoke alloys.

They don't *quite* fit, as is.
In this first photo they look like they fit ok (apologies for poor cameraphone pics)

But if you look closely, they're sticking out too far. It *might* be possible to trim back the size of the plastic tabs, I assume that's what's stopping them going right in, but I'm afraid I'm not sure.

I would have got a Gold members' discount anyway, but the guy let me have even more off because they were more expensive than the (wrong) ones that I'd originally ordered.
Did you get your 11 spokes from 'bluemackie' on ebay mate?
Yep, I bought them when I wasn't sure if I preferred them or not. I think I'm going to keep my 5-spoke wheels, and if so then I will sell on the 11-spoke jobs (offering them here first before they go on eBay).

I too got some wheels off bluemackie - absolutely mint condition and hes a really nice bloke. Just wanted to bump this thread and ask what everyones doing about centre caps.
Theres a set from Lexus birm on fleabay but I think everyone is bidding on em - there already nearly 50 quid and I refuse to pay that for a few crappy bits of plastic.
Ive measured my hole (no sniggering please!) and I think its 590mm on the inside and 640mm on the outside of the lip. This doesnt seem to tie up with any 'no brand' universal fit sets I can find. Has anyone any experiences with caps they know fit?
Appreciated

I guess your going to end up paying the £15 plus VAT from Lexus in the end, nearly £70 is expensive for plastic centre caps i agree. I won the ones on ebay to put on my wheels. I needed a set and still saved a bit of money on them. would've ended up going main dealer anyway.
Aprt from the Lexus fit i don't know of any universal ones that fit.
As for the wheels from bluemackie, I see there are a few more sets on ebay now starting at £250 plus P+P, someone is trying to cash in!

Yeh, I even got a brand new set of nuts (I said stop sniggering!) and a new set of locking wheel nuts in one of my boxes from bluemackie. Not sure they should have been there but I cant complain
Well done on winning those Rich and thanks ddadon, Ill look them up spose 47 quid + vat comes out to about what Rich paid - still damn expensive tho.
I just spotted these from the US http://www.centercaps.net/caps/details.php?stockNumber=25. I think they look right, Ill drop em an email and see whether theyre the right ones and how much they will be shipped - might be worth getting a few sets judging on the interest on ebay

edit - wow I just saw the shipping on the website its $10 per centrecap and each cap is $16 - so thats $26 / 2ish - about £13 - £15 quid each
Also - to answer my own question, I went to a specialist wheel place yesterday (Dave Sheldon in Salford) he said that I wouldnt find any non-original caps that would fit in original Lexus alloys, or if I did then they wouldnt fit properly - theyd pop out when the wheel expanded in different temperatures etc. So looks like we have to bend over and take it off Lexus

Those look like part 42603-53060, the same as the ones that I posted except they've got the silver background rather than dark grey/black. I don't think these ones were used on the IS200 although I could be wrong. I've seen them on RXs. They may well look fine on the IS though.

I got new sets of nuts in one of my boxes as well and like you i wasnt expecting them there, the car has been dropped off for fitting this morning.
With regards to the American seller, do bear in mind that customs might show you some unwanted love by charging vat on top of whatever you've paid the seller. I had that problem when i bought fog lights from a seller in Japan. Customs and parcel force charged me an extra £40... The fog lights still came in less than what lexus wanted for just one of them so i wasnt too ******.

They don't quite fit properly on the 5-spoke OEM wheels, they stick out a bit, as I posted up earlier (with pics). So I wonder if they'd have the same problem on the 18s. I don't have any 18" wheels to try them on though.

There's just a chance they would fit on the 18s though. On the 5-spoke 17s, the round centre caps won't push all the way in. *If* the 18s have a deeper centre hole then they might just fit. They could have a deeper centre hole an still take those pronged-style caps.
If you want to measure the depth of the centre hole on your 18s, then I can tell you how that compares to the depth of the round centre caps.

I've got the 18" styling kit alloys too and am planning to do this as well.........I know the wheel nuts actually sink deeper into the wheels on the 18s than they do on the 17s so hoping that the same applies for the centre cap but won't know until I try it.
Either way I've got to get my car MOTd in the next few weeks so going to try it out first when I take the car to the dealers before buying anything.

Well, I think I know understand why StevieWevie originally posted his request - Part no 42603-53060 does not fit in the 11 spoke alloy. I bought some to put in mine and it sticks out about 1mm when pushed all the way in, this would allow some little scrote to nick them so there going back.
Ive gone for the 70 quid ones now.

Oh ok, yeah I did phone Toyota they were asking 15 quid each plus vat, which is just way too much considering I only paid 25 quid for each of the wheels seems ridiculous to pay that much for a bit of plastic. I just can't find these centre caps anywhere except for from the dealer...

Well I finally had a chance to look at this (putting the 17's with winter tyres back on while its snowy) and the mounting depth for the 18's is definately more than 17's.
It therefore are a fact that 11 spoke caps would fit the 18" sport pack wheels.
It would be helpful is someone could post a dimension of the depth of 11 spoke centre caps so I could confrim before I splash £70 on them?
