£7000 ?
Have you seen how much IS200s are going for at the moment ? Sorry but IMHO it's way, way over-priced. I bought a 1999 model (advantage of lower road tax) with less mileage for a huge amount less than that.
Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.

Unfortunetly with the current state of the market, I too think you will struggle to get £7K for it mate. Now that you have taken off all the mods you had its not going to stand out from the crowd of similar cars. Good Luck trying however

Are you thinking of getting a Supra next?

Where have all the pics gone?
Yep £7k is prob a bit optimistic, mine's an 02 as well, but an auto with satnav and I doubt I'd even get £6k for mine if I tried - but guess if the right person comes along it's possible
Good luck with the sale, just hope you're not replacing it with a bright pink micra convertible

Indeed, a Micra it is! Hopefully I'll be able to afford the insurance on that as apparently I'm not on my own lol.
Been searching high and low for the owner of that, Rory. Excellent condition and not a rust-patch on it! Just a pity that the front wheel is missing a trim, but that could soon be sorted

I have a mate that drives an Evo and his second car is a on old F Reg Micra. Really honest good old old-fashioned engineering. It has 12" wheels (or "light weight racing rims" as we like to say). It will be Road tax exempt in a few years time so if you really at after cheap cheap motoring its a good car to consider.............

An F reg Micra will never become tax exempt without a change in the taxation regulations.

I think the car has to be older than 1975 to be tax exempt, it's not a rolling date

Rolling tax exemption of 25 years age was stopped in 1998. Cars pre 1973 qualify although I believe if it was reg in '73 but you can prove it was made in '72 it may qualify. Tories introduced the 25yr ruling but the other taxation that was due with it didn't happen. Labour abolished it in 1998 which is why pre '73 is cut off time.
