Full Version: Haze On Head Lights

hi guys,

I just wondering have any of you any ideas as to how I could remove the haze on my head lights?

ive tried washing up detergent but makes no difference.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Try T-cut or Brasso matey, Put it on and let it dry for a bit then give them a good polish :D might need to do it a couple of times but does seem to work :)

You could also use a clay bar, which should do the job. e.g the [url="http://www.bilthamber.com/autoclay.html"]Bilt-Hamber clay[/url] doesn't need a special lubricant (just water), unlike most other clays.

AutoSol is the same, put it on, leave it, then buff off.............does help.

I noticed this too on my car, it was old wax. I used the Step 1 Paint Cleaner bottle from the 3-stage Meguiars treatment, and that did the trick

a mild finishing compound should do it, such as 3m finesse

Screw up some newspaper and then give it a good rub on the headlight - dry. Brings it up very nicely.

i've got haze on mine too but can't work out if it's on the in or outside of the headlight ?

I'm pretty sure it is on the outside.

Get the meguires plasticX stuff it brings them up sparkling like glass.
