i seen this the othe day, i like it, looking for one for my old man, but to be honest the price got me abit, bit out of my budget...

Have been looking around for one for my missus - Not too seriously as she's not desperate for a new car - just waiting until the right one comes along....but if I'm being honest - Yours seems a little high on price given what else is out there.

If you really want to get rid, think you need to lower the price a little....but good luck anyway

Thats why I'm open to offers. As far as I can see there isn't another Sportcross Navigator with the low mileage and in as good condition with 40 miles of me.

What else is out there Mark W ??

In my personal opinion that is a little high. The market is not there at the moment mate. Nothing will fetch what it should be worth. What with the credit crunch/climate issues too, the IS is not great on fuel/tax! The price of them is plummeting all the time. Almost wish I'd waited a year before i got mine!

i think i come across it on pistonhead or autotrader some where

There may not be one within 40 miles in as good condition and low mileage - but I am assuming you are comparing to other vehicles for sale that also havent sold yet.
Totally agree with Stoney on this one - Cars are just not fetching what people "think" they should be worth - because of tax an fuel hikes - unfortunately any model Lexus is getting an extra bashing....on the positive side - all other cars are falling in price - so its the cost to change thats the important figure.

As an indication - There was an IS300 SP Nav about 2 weeks ago - 2003 - A little higher mileage than yours admittedly - but that wouldnt concern me as long its its been looked after - Forecourt price - £6999 - And garage desperate to do a deal - Would have bought it but colour wasnt right - as I said - we are not desperate for a new one and as things are going - cars are only going to lose more money over the next few months.

Your car is worth what someone will pay for it - no more - no less.

Good luck with the sale though

Whatcar suggests £6700 as a private sale price for that car. I'm totally with Mark W though. Having been in a situation of advertising my car for best part of 10-12 months and having no serious interest - and only a handful of people who were just asking, even if it's advertised at a fair price, if people won't pay it, you're stuffed. I had mine advertised at a bargain basement price and no one was interested. Sorry to sound so negative but it's the way of the economy at the moment.
I do wish you luck with the sale though and hope you get what you want for it smile.gif
