I had a great time too... just wait for JapFest now.. :D
Steve ( West Mids )
Yes a good meet guys and girls. Nice to meet some more like minded people :)

I take it the organiser will name & shame the restaraunt who would not serve us ..... and also the one that pulled the stops out to serve up 25 meals at that time on a Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon.

A special thanks to Sarah ( aka Badger ) from the TOC for keeping me company for lunch :)
DUNCAN
Sorry I missed it......
Anyone take any pickies to post????????
Steve ( West Mids )
Got a few piccies for later.

Forgot to mention in earlier post the Sat Nav in the courtesy car got me lost going to the meet .... it directd me up a very narrow lane then stopped :(

On the way back it led me in 2 or 3 circles in Cheltenham :(

Is this normal? If so not impressed.
norkep

MsW
Hi everyone I met today

My first meet too - lots of faces to put to names........ I'll get all your names wrong next time we meet, but I hope you won't mind. ;)

Little Zoe was delightful, and has a keen eye for a well turned out motor, running an experienced hand over the silky smooth paintwork the second Matt Wild(rnes) had finished buffing it up :yahoo:

I don't mind naming and shaming THE SEVEN SPRINGS - HUNGRY HORSE for turning us away when they patently had the facilities to cater for us - for goodness sake, anyone would think they weren't expecting lots of customers this weekend. :(

Whereas the staff of The LITTLE OWL couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome, and not an inconvenience. Food was excellent too. :D :D :D

Peej - I was the coffee lady

Oh, and the cars were all superb and as different as their owners who were a right friendly bunch.

Thank you all for a lovely day.

Oh, and Bourton was nice, too.........

Linda
norkep
Hi Linda,

And I will definatley be at JapFest... and any meets planned for the future...

Ian.
Loz
Sorry I couldnt make it guys! SOund like you had a blast. I got stuck under a Range Rover with a few power tools. Not quite as exciting... I'm sure you'd agree.

Hope to see you all at the next one.

BTW Jac. if you are interested in some GS300 MkII Alloys that are in good condition but have a little laquer peeling going on. (I'd have 2 of the five referbed for £30) Then they are yours for £120 for five with legal tyres of course...

Loz
Zee007
Great seeing the old and new once again....... Lots of laughs (at my expense) I'm sure you'll agree!!! :D

Glad it didn't rain, and nice to (finally) find a pub.... ;)

ids like to add a big thanks.........and a big hello to all the new faces....and oi oi to all the old faces, and a slight grin to zee

was good to eventually make a meet this year..even though the mode of transport had to be relegated t the corner of the car park
rhaines
Just thought I'd add my 2p...

IMHO best meet by far yet, turn out was surprisingly poor but I think we can safely say we made up for it....

A quick wander around Burton On Water and the museum (the guy didn't know LOC & TOC were coming so we negotiated a discount to £2.25 :D )

Great fun driving out of the car park and through the small village with Horns blaring, the local's actually seemed to enjoy it, well at least the old boy opposite me was stabbing his finger in the air and smiling when the horns went off...

Little Owl defo deserve a mention as they were superb although whoever was in front, could they use the full speed limit next time

Was followed home by Matt (Pugeout) and someone in a Blue IS200 with a nice bit of poke :P and hope they realised I was poitning at the Badger on the road and nothing else :D

Great to see you all and will have to have a drive and find a country pub more often although we could arrange it before hand so we don't get kicked out of 3 pubs en route....

Here's my photo's

Sorry for the problems you had with the museum. Lack of communication on their part as I have email confirmation from them of our booking and also spoke to them the week before.

Glad it turned out ok and thanks to Wildrnes for calling me on Saturday and helping to sort things out

you are aware of the other use of the term Mr Happy?

:whistling:

NO!

we do not want a photochop for this one - ok?

rhaines
Anyone found a useable picture of a badger yet ???

All the ones I've found I think are a little unsuitable for general forum useage and think it would need to much photoshop work to piece it back together to do something with :)
