My RX is not a '54 model so there could be changes to the fuse layout.
But the lighter fuse also controls outside rearview mirrors and power door lock system.
On mine it is a 15amp fuse located on the interior drivers side fuse box.
It is fuse No. 22 First row, Left hand side, third fuse down.
Hope it helps. The fuse layouts should be in your manual if you have one.

What was the incident ?

Has it streched the contacts.

My charger caused the holder to stretch therefore when it actually made contact and worked it would shoot out
I can remember losing it (hot) over the back of the centre consol till I closed it up to hold it tight again

Or is it my old black Cockroach. that's doing it again ?
