Hi .

I have a year old RX400h , can i expect the wheels to corrode like the did yearly on my IS200 ? Anybody with a 2/3 year old 400h had this ?

No Jon,
I have a 02/06 RX,drive in the South (Greece), no such problems so far!

RX400h 2006, 90.000km. all 4 wheels corroded and fixed by lexus under waranty.

Yes: had visible corrosion on two wheels (and imaginiary corrosion on the other two ) just before the warranty expired: had all four replaced under warranty.

My missus rx300 had corrosion on rear wheel and was fixed by car dealer before we bought the car in August. It's a 2004 car....

cheers folks . Now did you keep the wheels clean and free of road salt or did you just let them rot ? I wash my rims weekly through the winter so if it makes no odds then i won't freeze my nads off cleaning them as often .

Jon keep your nads. My 54 reg had all the wheels corrode, four of them dirty and the spare shining and unused never out of the boot also corroded.
