Does anyone have any remedies for the front head light unit? The plastic seems to have gone dull with age is there anything i can use to clear it back up so that it looks as good as new?

I use Brasso on mine mate but you can try T-Cut aswell to try and clean them up a bit with a bit of gentle pressure and a clean cloth on the lenses :)

What's Brasso? is that the brand or the product name?

Yes mate, Brasso is a brand of metal cleaner that can be brought at most shops like Asda, tesco etc, But its only a mild cleaner/polish that will remove dirt from the laquer on the light lenses, I used to build headlamps and we used it all the time to remove scratches and marks from the lenses and does work quite well,

T-cut does the same thing as again its only a light abrasive and should remove the discolouring from the headlamps and can be brought from most car shops :)

If Brasso does n't work, try wet sanding with 800 - 1200 - 2000 grid sandpaper (maybe the 800 can be skipped if your headlights is not so bad) and then a good rub with some paint finishing compound (i used 3M in a black bottle).

That method worked miracles to me!
