Sanj (mr-lex) did this a number of years ago with his old car. Stopped off at the barbers at the end of his road on the way back from shopping, then as it was so close to home he just walked it.
A few hours later he was meant to be picking me up as we were going out somewhere and I got a phone call saying his car had been nicked. Took him 30 mins of walking up and down the street before he realized.
Was soooo funny.

I took mine for the MOT monday and had to collect 2 hours later, in the meantime looked out the window at home and shat one when I noticed it wasn't there, I remembered before ringing the fuzz tho
