Do you still get in your IS and stare at it (especially when lit up in orange) and say "Wow- that's cool!" or you never thought it was that good anyway?

Also, the IS is the only car [u][i]ever[/i][/u] to have such a speedo?

Yeh still think its one of the best dash setups around today, the whole effect at night is quite impressive

Yeah I agree, every time I get in and sit down, I always look at the dials and smile just slightly, before starting up.

The first time i sat in an IS was at the valeters place in the alley behind my store, as i sat in it and looked at the dials for the frist time i thought to myself "i'll never own anything as nice as this inside"

Still loving the design, it's as much an IS200/IS300 trademark as the rear lights IMO,
though my custom stainless dials add to it a bit too

Yeah, I love my dials. And whenever I show someone the car, who hasn't seen inside an IS200 before, the dash generally impresses them too.

The fact that it's got a lovely interior as well as being great to drive (and a nice exterior too) makes the IS200 a great package !

Yeah I have to agree its does look rather impressive. The cubile with the speedo has a porsche look about it!

My father who worked in the airlines for 30 years plus, thought it looked like the control panel of a boeing jet, when it was all lit up at night!

Looks good mate.

I still think they look impressive. Folks who haven't seen it before are well impressed when they see it. Its F1 inspired, if I remember correctly....
