Hi,
Wondering if you can help me out, im installing a sound system into my Lexus IS200 but i cant find a reasonable place to send the power cable (for the new amp) from inside the car into the engine compartment. Can you recommend any places?

Thanks,

Danny.

just behind the battery matey, theres a big rubber grommet, might have to take the battery out to get better access to it and the wire comes out behind the glovebox when pushed through.. biggrin.gif

^^ what he said!

i find a bbq sqewer (stick thing.. cant spell) helps to feed it through.. add some silicond sealant to the outside of the wire if you go through the grommet toi seal it up again..

Hi Danny,
I see you found it. Much better in the open than via PM's.

Here is my cable as it goes through the bulkhead by the battery. I used duct tape and a knitting needle to poke it through.
It goes down behind the glovebox, under the fusebox cover, then into the sill and travels towards the rear seat.
There is a hole in the bulkhead on the passenger side to pass cables through to the boot (smaller hole on drivers side)
underneath the rear seat back.

That is assuming of course you are mounting your amp in the boot whistling.gif
