Hi people,

I just put my deposit on a 2006 (October) IS250 with 20k miles

Still got a year's warranty ... I just sat inside, took it for a test drive and that was it (after trying a few different cars, golf, Audi, SL500 - wow, 5.4 sec 0-62 but the insurance was 5k... and only two seater ...) .

Gonna pick it up tomorrow, I got quoted £1370 for insurance, although I've been driving for almost 20 years (on an international License)... I only got my UK License in Jan08 ...

I also got AA extended warranty for 2 years ...was that a good move ?

Anything I should know/ be aware of ?

I've been looking for a car since January ... I'm really excited !!!

Welcome mate, dont know much about 250's myself but hopoe your hapy with it.

One thing though, don't put your Reg as your Lexus model , possibly change that (go to control panel at the top of the page) as everyone can see it.
