I'm pretty sure years ago these were more in fashion but these days you never see them on cars - why not?
....You know the plastic reflective strips you slide onto the door edge to avoid damaging the adjacent parked car if you accidently bang it! I just checked on www.halfords.co.uk and they DO still exist - I'd forgotten about them!
Any ideas?

Yeh you dont see them very often now, but i wish a few people round my way would find them again and stop putting dinks in my doors

Some muppet (sorry.....I mean previous owner) had them on the front doors of my IS200,
luckily nearly all the scratches they left were buffed out.
Tiny bits of grit get under them over time, and they just act as scratch pads.

Yeah even though they've tried to make them look trendy nowaday they still look naff!
Just put some Brillo pads on the door edges instead!
