I am after as per the title an as new-ish, IS200 Sport back box, the chrome shiny one that standard on all sports models to fit my SE.

Ellz is selling a back box in another thread on here. You might want to ask him to double-check if it's a chromed one or not.

The Sport backbox is exactly the same as the SE one except that it has a chrome tip on the end. So this could work out cheaper than you thought.

And funnily enough i have one of those tips somewhere as i've swapped my exhaust for a Blueflame one. It's not in great condition though, but I'm sure will look good with a bit of elbow grease.

after 2002 all models had a polishes stainless steel tip, you may find if your car is in this age range that it just needs a bloody big clean

My is200 sport was new in 2003, with styling kit, but no polishes stainless steel tip

You can tell if your IS has the chrome end as the tip is rounded. Exhaust with out the chrome tip is quite a straight cut.

my 2003 SE had one, depends when your SPORT was built

my 2001 is200se has a standard back box, when i first got the car the tip was black, was told some were chrome so got the chrome cleaner to it and it now looks great maybe worth a go

Is there an alternative 3rd part product i can fit? I'm not too bothered about power gains, I just want something to look abit nicer is all...

there are chrome tip/sleeves you can buy from ebay, you will need to measure the exhaust tip and get a nice tight fit

there was a member went to a garage that sold the power-flow exhausts and got them to cut the tail pipe off and weld a s/s tail pipe on in its place
