Hey people.

The GS is doing fine and being loved much, however, it would be nice to have all of the lights working on the rear spoiler. Out of the 30 or so LEDs, about 15 look as if they are working. Is it possible to replace the light strip on the spoiler? I can't find any obvious way of getting it off..

Thanks

Anyone?

Surely someone has had blown bulbs in the spoiler at some point!

hullo, mine had i'd say 70% of the leds that wernt working its a simple repair tbh, but ive had years of electronics practice,. the way mine got removed is a pain tho, you have to remove the entire spoiler, tip it upside down so you can see the brake light there are 2 plastic clips at either side of the "brake light" pop these off and there's 2 screws inside, remove them and away you go thats the easy part , getting the "brake light taken apart is mucho fun smile.gif
all in, its not a bad job, just fiddly

Right, would a Lexus dealer do this? My dad is not at home much (3 days every 2 weeks) so it's not really something we would have time to do. I try to help him out where I can but I think this is a bit out of my league! 16 year old + car electronics is a bad idea!

Depending on who uses the account, it'll be either BigM (Mark) or BigD (Dave, the father biggrin.gif)
