hi i have an is200 sc and on sunday i started it up and tryed to pull away and the rev's dieded off to idle. i worked out that if i only touch the throttle lightly it works ok so got it home like that. i have got spare coil packs and plugs at home so changed them but this has not helped at all. still ok till put throttle right down then it has a big misfire. any idea's

Do you have a Engine Management Light on? If so you need to get the fault codes read.
Could be the ETC or the piggyback on the ECU for the S/C IMHO.

Yeah need the fault codes really mate,
But sounds like the black box wiring has come loose, this would cause an inlet manifold pressure fault which would cause the fault your having.

yes got the light on. i was thinkin it could be something to do with the black box i remeber that they tend to brake .

Yep unfortuantly,
You can replace it with a HKS fcd (STD type), setting 8-10 depending what feels best for your car.
