Hey,

I've made my own turbo kit for my SXE10 Altezza and dropped the compression to 10.5:1. I'm running 9psi with an external wastegate using a TD04L-13T turbo.

I've got an emanage ultimate which I am using for the tune, I have ignition sorted with 1 degree retard per pound of boost. My only problem now is fuel, I've read about a few other members rides with turbo SXE10's and was wondering if they could share their basemaps for me to look at.

It would be much appreciated, just need something to look at as a starting point. I know I can damage my motor without a proper tune, but at this stage thats out of the question and so is a wideband o2.

Anything would be much appreciated blush.gif

Thanks in advance,

Hello mate and welcome to the club biggrin.gif

There's not too many Altezza's on here at the moment mate but if you have a look HERE!! Some of the guys on there might be able to help you out,

But please do stick around as it sounds like an interesting project you have going on and would like to hear more about it biggrin.gif

I really would strongly suggest if your attempting tuning yourself to get a wideband o2 sensor, the £150 they cost is so much cheaper than the thousands a new engine rebuild will cost.

Yea I know,

I'm thinking of investing in one as the emanage has a target a/f map which would be handy to get a basemap out of,

Apart from that, assuming the MAF sensor can keep up with the extra airflow, would it just be a simple matter of finding the current air fuel ratio, then the target air fuel ratio and working out the difference in percentage.

Say the factory ecu aims for around 13.5:1 at WOT and I want 11.5:1 could I simply add 17% into the injector adjustment map so its injector an extra 17% fuel, thus bringing the air fuel ratio down to my desired level?

Probably not that easy is it?

I'm not sure when it comes to the tuning side to be honest mate.

But as far as i know with the tuning map is you build the map so like you said you want 11.5:1 at whatever rpm/boost point. Program in the wideband and it should do it for you.
