I got my insurance through Broadsure Direct (a brokers). £330 NCP for my ls430 2001, £100 excess, 35 yrs old, 13 yrs no claims. Clean licence. Still a bargain!

I also used sky to insure my escort i've just got as a run around, £341 TPFT with a mirrored 5 years NCB policy for a 26year old and his 32 year old wife who has an SP30.

Thanks for the feedback, it is nice to see some members taking advantage of the LOC insurance scheme

so only £185

That is really really cheap for a group 18 insurance car!

I'm 41 with 9 years no claims and SwiftCover were coming in at around £400 for me. Sky were about the same price but with a lower excess, so I went with them.

£230 is very impressive!

Having said that, my best quotes have come via this forum for the past couple of years, A-Plan last year and Sky this year.

Just wanted to give Sky Insurance a shout!

Beat my current renewal by £210 and my best quote this year too!

Last year with Insure.co.uk quoted me for my renewal £520, up £50 on last year.

Cheapest quote this year was £320 from Likewise with a whopping £550 Excess.

Just phoned Sky insurance and i'm more than (excuse the pun) happy with the £310 quote, £250 Excess and protected NCD for myself and partner to drive. Installments are also available.

I'm 30, 6 years NCD, 13 years driving, no previous claims and RM postcode for my 2001 IS200 SE.

I didn't try SKY should have though..... I read the post for 20% off... I dumb I guess.

Got quoted over £700 with admiral after calling them I bought that down to £568 fully comp protected no claims with £160 Excess (£60 standard + £100 Vol).
and Legal protection.

I'm 32 with a 57 Plate IS 250 Sport.... with 8 NCB and a clean Driving Licence... My SM post code let's me down a little.

It's amazing what you get off, if you phone your insurance company up and haggle a little.

Although saying that it wasn't that cheapest quote I did get offered £498 from Switon but the excess was £250 so I stuck admiral.
