ok going to do a service on the car today.what is best done i know oil change and oil filter.would a lsd oil change be good also as i don't know what was done when i bought the car.also gear box oil? what type of engine oil is best to use?? and is there a service manual anywhere that i can refer to if needed thanks

If you have your service book, it will tell you what needs doing, but essentially, the 70k is an oil and oil filter change and a general checkup. You might find other things might need replacing, such as brake pads etc, so its worth giving the whole car a quick check.

As for engine oil, I use Eneos 5w/30 fully synth, only place I know that sells it is Japparts. Use a standard oil filter from Lexus/Toyota. I'm sure the diff and gearbox oils should be good until 100k, but it won't do any harm replacing it earlier.

Have you had the timing belt replaced yet? If not, I'd consider getting this done as well. I believe this now should be changed at 60k or 6 years whichever comes first.
