Firstly, hello all. I'm new here and have just bought my first Lexus. A 1995 LS400
I also have two other Toyotas including a 1968 Corona

I have a few questions I'm after help with please

The sound system in my car has several faults: The LCD display has some faulty pixels (common I hear). The LCD panel has no backlight. The switches do not light up either (AC panel above is fine). Right-hand channel has no output

Are these problems all likely to stem from the main dash unit? What are my options / sources for replacement?

New Ride - Corona behind

Other electrical faults include:

Seat memory not working (they move though)
Front seat heaters not working (rears work)

Any input / experience very much appreciated thanks

Nice collection of cars.

Other than the obvious fuse issues, I can't help at all but I am sure that someone on here will soon.

Hello,
Well i've got a 93' K reg and the center console backlighting is linked to the dash - i have the faulty dash syndrome now.
My stereo is ok (except multichanger), the a/c unit in the dash is starting to get faulty in the mornings when cold - that is seperate i think.

Look for chris vince, he left a post under lcd repairs somewhere (good luck i cant find it). This tells you how much and where.

Someone else in derby (thro ebay ls400 dash) will fix it for 200, but chris seems honest enough plus he has top ratings and is cheaper so i'll leave it with you

Call Chris Bilmore @ Cheaptoyotaparts (tell him you got his details from LOC),
they do repairs to dash etc, & might well be able to help.
They are in Carshalton.
