Sorry for this, but maybe some of you will relate… Since I have been 18 years old, I have been able to upgrade my car every 18 months…
Now with a wife & baby, running two cars – a mortgage and all the rest of the ***** that being responsible brings… Now I am 20 months into my car. I am two months longer in this car than any car before… I love my car, but if the economy had continued to stay healthy, I would be in a 2004 now enjoying all the niceties of it… I am getting a little bored of my 2001. Any suggestions on cheap ways to spruce it up a bit? That car is mint with a 100k miles on it. I love my toys, I love my gadgets. I know every button in my car now and would like to play with the few new buttons in the 2004. Ugh, this recession totally blows… I’m sure I’m not the only spud feeling like this….?

I don't have the premium pack in mine... The main new buttons on the 2004 are the air suspension & bluetooth phone kit. If I had the cash I'd be upgrading, but oh man am I strapped right now...
I'd also prefer no more than 75k on the clock...

I've got a 2004 model. The air suspension is as booring as follows:-
1) You can make it go higher??? (Still havn't figured out why you would want to do this)
2) Make it more uncomfortable by selecting sport.
The fridge is sometimes usefull for chilling small bottles of water.
The rear electric seats gets used by everyone but me. And since having the SL2Vi iPod adapter, everyone keeps changing my songs which is anoying.
The bluetooth comes in handy so long as my Blackberry likes my car that day.
The headlights do turn when you turn the steering wheel but I don't find this any more usefull than standard xenon headlights.
Appart from that, stick with what you got.
You could always shell out £8,000.00 on the Tom's supercharger kit for it.

I've got the fridge in the back and never used it.
As you say, I wouldn't ever get to use the electric seats in the back, and if someone dared switch the music I would be unforgiving...
The turing lights are a nice gadget that would keep me entertained for many night time drives.
Making the car go higher is also a little novelty that would keep me entertained in traffic...
I will indeed be sticking with what I got... I'm just depressed.

Hi
Get a full professional Valet done on the car, cost around £100 and it will feel like you have just picked it up from the dealer.....
Just a thought

Upgrading the audio in an LS 430 would be like having your Bugatti Veyron chipped.

I didn't know they did an upgrade kit for the Veyron!I thought it felt a bit undertuned, I'm getting mine booked in next week now!

The vallet is a good idea. It has been about 2 months since I had it valleted last and it is due.
My main problem is that the car is so perfect and so reliable that I have every reason to keep it and no reason to moan about it. I suppose it is a very good problem to have really... I think I am spoilt...
