I am looking to get a 99/00 GS300, hopefully in sport spec so thought I would introduce myself and thank you in advance for helping with questions etc.

I have always admired the GS models and now seems like a good time to get one as my commute to work is not very far, but the traffic can be bad so a lovely heated leather seat has got to be the way forward.

Hi fella, not sure if you're set on the 300 but I saw a post on here selling a 430 earlier for £4500! Absolute bargain at that price!

Looking forward to getting into one for a drive, I am stuck in a hire car at the moment after my Primera GT was written off 2 weeks ago by some goon smashing into me.

Anyway, I have found one list of things to lookout for when buying 300's, but it looks quite small lol. Are they that reliable, or do I need to look harder.

Think balljoints are prone to go, probably worth checking the soundsystem out as I've blown the sub recently, and not so sure as been out of the forums for ages but think that the brake booster may be prone to die on these and is almost £2,000 to replace?

The brake booster sounds scary! I was thinking the 300 might suit best to try and keep running costs reasonable, as I have a mega power flaming track day toy that I can get my speed kicks from even if it does require lots of maintanance (read money)!
