What is with Lexus and Golf Clubs?

The open boot shot looks like it has a set in a Lexus branded bag.

It needs bigger wheels and maybe a tad lowered, other than that I am beginning to like the look of it now I've seen more shots...

i asked at a recent lexus vip weekend about the cabriolet no confirmed launch dates but they are expecting it around may/june time.
also no confirmed prices but they said expect to be looking at 35/36k

I still think the rear end looks a little bulky, and might just be crazy, but it looks like it's too long past the rear wheels. But yeah think a bigger set of alloys might make it look better, plus maybe a different colour.

I actually quite like it with the roof up

Dont like it boot is nearly as long as the bonnet

Looked last night and a 57reg 320i SE, CC can now be had for £24K so £35-36K is just far to much, I think they will end up like the C70 & EOS which are an in between CC's, between the Audi cabriolet and 3 series CC and the likes of the Focus CC and Astra CC

If it sells at below £30k for an SE type spec. then maybe they will go from the showrooms, otherwise they will be parked in the docks.
dgman
it will surely be lower priced than the audi and bmw as with the rest of the lexus range.

nice looking car but i wouldnt buy one, rather have the saloon smile.gif
simon k
the sales guy said they hadnt released prices yet but said if the SEL is around 30/31K it will be around 5K more
Parthiban
Yep I'd imagine list prices to be at least £2-3k over the saloon - actual prices they sell for could be very different though

I think it's becoming a very overcrowded market sector for an impractical style of car.
Steve (W.Mids) has got it about right, imo.

It's trying to complete in a Market where the best car in this type/style is German (BMW 3 conv), so people will largely buy it for 3 reasons - perceived reliability, 'cos they would not buy german or rarity...pricing won't make much difference...unless it's dirt cheap...or much better than the saloon...

It's also going to have fiercer competition from the S5 Cab

I'm sure it will sell well in USA, which is Lexustera...
