Hello to everyone, great site and some very helpful forums and topics

I have had a similar problem to other members with my management light and trc light flashing so went and bought a reader and used it for first time today.
when read the fault shows a misfire on cylinders 2 and 5 which going by previous posts would be to replace these coilpacks but it also shows fault code for multiple misfires which has me confused, could it be the leads or plugs? i would be very grateful for any anwsers anyone has. thanks

Clear the codes, swap the coilpack, and see if you get different cylinders, say 1 and 6, dont have leads mate biggrin.gif

^eactly what he said, and it would show multiple misfires if your pack was on the way out.

Hello again, i have done what sparkystav and gord suggested, swapped all the coils to differnt order ie 1 is swapped with 2 and 3 with 4 ect. Have tested this now for few weeks and engine not showing any faults but on one occasion the engine management light did flash on a long pull f a hill but whwn the car was turned off the light stayed out, i connected reader but shows no fault. Would anyone agree the fault is gone or can anything else be tryed? Thanks Keith
