just saw this decat item on ebay(searched lexus exhaust),and was wondering if anyone has bought one of these,and if so what did they think of if,fitting,performance gains,quality ,etc.
any tips or advice would be appreciated thanks?

You may well know already, but bear in mind that your car will fail the MoT with no cat fitted. Not specifically because of the lack of a cat, but it'll probably fail the emissions test. So if you do have one of these you'll have to swap it at MoT time, which could be a bit of a pain.

I think the cat has to be physically present on petrol cars doesn't it, diesels don't need the cat for MoT.

So if you don't want to mess about at MoT time get a standard cat and gut it (but you could still fail on emissions) or get a sports cat. Would there be much gain on an IS200 though?

Looks like it just bolts on & off so wont take more than 10 mins if you have the tools or very easy for a garage to do for you.

have you bought one yet. let us no if you do and what you think. i bought a manifold off ebay an it didnt fit, got my money back and ke[t the manifold but it dont fit lol. keep us posted

no i havent got one yet,was just getting some advice before i bought it,i used to have a decat pipe on my old car and it passed 2 mots,just wonderd if anyone knew if they gave any improved power gains,my mots due soon,so ill wait til thats gone before i get the decat just in case!!
