heard today lexus southend is closing in 2 weeks

It's not detrimental to the marque, just a consequence of the climate in my opinion..... Bloody shame really because some really good companies are going to go down the pan anytime soon.

Not good news about the Honda factory in Swindon "temporarily" closing just after xmas either........Theres going to be some hard times ahead and I think next year will be the real big hitter as peoples lines of credit run out........too many people borrowing money on loans/credit cards and then paying off by increasing their mortgage because their house price has increased (I know a scarily amount of people who have been living "beyond their means" operating in this way) and its going to be next year that it hits these people and they can no longer buy anything....

but after nearly 2 years of chasing us a major Japanese branded dealership has pulled out of buying a site off a client due to the down turn.
