Hi

I have a 54 plate IS200 auto.

Driving over 30, it feels like it's missfiring while trying to change gear. I get a juddering feeling as if when driving a manual the clutch was let up too early.

Any ideas??

Any warning lights on the dash ?

Thanks for your reply.

No, nothing comes on the dash. no lights or anything. it just does it by itself!! lol

Did this just suddenly start happening ? The car was fine one minute and then it suddenly it started doing this ? Or did it happen after, say, filling with petrol, or having some work done on your car, or anything else you can think of ? Or the car not having been driven for a while ?

It changes gears fine when going below 30 ?

I'm asking mainly to try to get more information, I won't be able to help you myself, but there are lots of knowledgeable people on here who probably will have some ideas.

it just started doing it a couple of days ago, but it's consistant. I've not done a whole lot of miles, had any mods or anything like that. I drive it every day and I filled up with petrol days before it started. Below 30, it's all gravy! lol

Have you tried changing the spark plugs?

Has it had a recent service?
