I must say I am quite impressed with the new interior, among other things. I'm trading in my es this month for the 330 and I can't wait! It rides a ton smoother than mine, and the gauges and the dash are probably my favorite along with the sc. I wish the dvd package wasn't quite so much, though. Anyone else had a chance to drive one yet?

Yes, i have. Last month, as a matter of fact. I participated in the Lexus event at Alameda Point in San Fran Bay. We test drove the rx, gx, lx, x5, mdx, aviator, esclade, and a dozen more competitors on and off road, from speeds of several mph to 70+ mph. The best thing about it was that there were no salespeople, thus, no pressure to buy anything. They also gave us tons of goodies when we left tongue.gif . I agree that the new rx is much more comfortable, and smoother, since i own a 2001 rx300. I wish i had held off two more years and gotten the rx330. Too early to trade my rx in.

I just got an RX330 after driving the RX300 for a weekend while my 330 got prepped. I must say that there is a difference although I'm no expert since this is my first Lexus. It is an impressive car with regards to appearance, performance, interior, and exterior style. I prefer much more than the Mercedes and BMWs I drove and for less $$ AND is still has the bling bling of the name Lexus! (at least to me).

I agree

The Mercedes M-class's rear looks too much like a mini-van, and the BMW X5's interior looks "broken down". The RX's rear has much style, while the interior is still very impressive.

The clear/silver rear lights are pretty cool. Wonder if they'll find there way onto the next IS...

Looks too flash and a bit like a tank. Very ugly.
A definite no no for me.
Jeremy Clarkson referred to it in last week's TOP GEAR as a vehicle which he could imagine Los Angeles drug dealers using!
