I have a 1991 Toyota Aristo.. I have had it a couple of months now and over the last month the suspension has become really wallowy and crashes over potholes and bumps.. It seems to sit very low as well.
I have noticed that the suspension has some electronics attached to the top of the struts. What sort of suspension does the Aristo have, is it air or gas suspension? Does it just need a recharge, or are my shocks knackered ?
Thank you in advance.

Only the four wheel drive Aristo ZiFour V8 had air suspension.
The electrical connections operate the Toyota Electronically Controlled Suspension (TEMS), which stiffens the damping when the Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT) is set to PWR.
The TEMS shocks can be replaced with normal (GS300) shock absorbers.
