Hi All

I have a 1991 Toyota Aristo.. I have had it a couple of months now and over the last month the suspension has become really wallowy and crashes over potholes and bumps.. It seems to sit very low as well ?

I have noticed that the suspension has some electronics attached to the to of the struts ? What sort of suspension does the Aristo have, is it Air or Gas suspension.. Does it just need a recharge, or are my shocks knackered ?

Thankyou in advance.

WODJ :)

Only the four wheel drive Aristo ZiFour V8 had air suspension.

The electrical connections operate the Toyota Electronically [s]Controlled[/s] Modulated Suspension (TEMS), which stiffens the damping when the Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT) is set to PWR.

The TEMS shocks can be replaced with normal (GS300) shock absorbers.
