The organisers haven't announced the dates yet.

If I'm reading the JAE forums correctly (only had a *very* brief look) then it looks like they're looking for a venue as well as a date, sounds like we won't be back at Mersea Island

Problem with mersea was it wasn't very centralised for everyone and now the uncertainty around it has led the other car clubs making their own arrangements. TBH if they don't sort it soon i can see there either being no JAE this year or a very sparsely populated one.

they asked us to turn it down and face the speakers away from the area they were

we did !

the stewards were more than happy with us, and said they wished everyone was as compliant

....and we turned it down exactly at the times the stewards stipulated too.

They were lucky I didn't fire my car up

If they saw Dave's dance I'm sure they would give us permission for another disco next year
(so long as Dave was dancing )

Thats a real shame, as i thought mersea island was a great venue.

According to the JAE forums they are looking at several different date/venue combinations. Shame it's not going to be at Mersea again, hopefully it'll be somewhere even better !

I quite liked Mersea Island, was planning on bringing the buggy to blitz up and down the beach!

Bugger, i quite liked it at Mersea too bit of a trek but just added to the weekend for me, with the great weather we had and the people that turned up. Hope its sorted out so we can do it again
