Finally, done it! Done the mod for the wing mirror closure! Well pleased with the result! Can't stop playing with it...

A big thanks to Geoff, for his excellent job making this happen. Soon it will be the total closure!!!! Can't wait.....

Oh yeh, will try to do a movie for this (MPEG)...watch this space....

Anyone else made them? Kev - how are you getting on with your build - did you look into surface mount?

Zee - Wilderness not heard anything - how are you getting on with them?

Anyway, so far I have 3 of the side windows on Auto, just having a bit of trouble with the drivers side. This is because I'm controlling them from the window ECU so no extra power sources will need to be tapped into or any cable runs into the door or anything.

Shouldn't be long now. Will be easy to connect to the mirror closure.

Harty is going to help me with mine tomorrow - I had a look last weekend, but got a little nervous, so will report back tomorrow evening hopefully with it done.... Would love to have windows too....!!!

erm....sorry I am a bit of a let down I'm affriad.

Been soooooo busy at work as we are trying to get a new product out (all go buy it, its the new Sony Freeview box, out Sept and best on market!).

I may be able to fit a "homer" in next week or so, but also trying to put final touches to our wedding!!

Sorry guys. I will try by best though. The plan is to do a surface mount version so it will be much smaller. Am nervous about the cutting of wire in the motor incase something then goes wrong and Lexus refuse to cover it - but I really want this mod. Will get it done eventually. - Sorry Geoffers didn't even realise you posted in the Maintenance forum - I must admit, I don't look there much!!
