Ok the euro forum members are having a club meet between these dates....

6th-8th june

the location is in and around Soltau Germany

the bigger picture puts the location between Hamburg, Hannover

the event will be hosted by Jens Rathje and myself

the 3 day event is being broken down into, lots of cruising through the North German Plain's, much beer drinking, and fine food

accomodation will be located within a holiday park which has been discounted for us to 5 euro's a night

there will also be visits to HEIDI PARK, a large fairground and amusments park(cointains europes largest wooden roller coaster)

and on one day a GO-Carting track is booked for a full days racing

what nobody wants to go on the ***** for 3 days, g go-carting, go to one of europes largest Theme parks, cruise in the Wonder of the north german plains

and it still be a lexus meet..................

once you have got here, were only looking at 200 euro max for the whole 3 days, that will include the caravan hire, theme park and go-carting, plus food and cheap Tax free/Duty free beer, which i will be lovingly suppling

nearby, is Hamburg, famous for its.............ehmm, ...do a search on Yahoo for Rieperbahn....or ask andy hart about it

Hannover is also down the road, both cities are bloomin good for shopping, to cruise on the Autobahn(de-restricted sections), it would take about 40 mins to reach either city

I suggest you DO NOT do a search for the Rieperbahn if your missus/kids are present

I have never been lost for words before, but that street did the trick

okay, to make this easier for everyone concerned, the dates have been moved to allow many more people to attend.

so now the dates are

friday 6th june - sunday 8th june

i hope this will allow more to make this one, alot is planned over the 3 days

Harty has said that people are more than welcome to come across with him in his car.......

if people are prepared to make this meet, i will make available cheaper ferry tickets than are normally available.

Matt, what time would the ferry be on Friday, I've a meeting in the morning, would there be enouh time to make it the ferry from MK. I'm looking at 1 - 2 before I'm finished.

it depends if your driving across or hooking up with Harty, i suggested to Harty Calais..its cheaper, especially if he comes across on Seacat

I think I am going to go Hull - Rotterdam and I reckon that Sarah may be coming too...........

Driving Across Matt

Paul, you have 2 basic choices...dover - calais, or Harwich - Cuxhaven

you could go harwich - hook of holland aswell i think

the least driving is harwich - cuxhaven, but its a long journey on the ferry,

the drive from calais is about 6-8 hours once you get off the ferry......seems a long way but it soon flys by

HOOK of HOLLAND to here is approx 4.5 hours

yep thats right ill come up - thats defo now. but im flying. As for the ferry if you can do Harwich - Hoek van Holland then it will take you about 4 to 4.5 hrs to get somewhere near mats place, thats what it took me and i wasnt exactly driving slow! but remember that the "no speed limit" doesnt exist on all sections of the autobahn so do watch your speed!!!

here we go again. I was in the UK on holiday for two weeks. I missed Gaydon cos I had to return to Euroland on the same day as Gaydon.

Now we have a meet which is only 3 hours from me, but I may have to give it a miss as I am likely to be back in the UK that week.

Does anyone have any idea of cost for the ferry going between the Hook-Of-Holland.

There is a possiblity that may be going. Just need to convince the wife to take some time off
