Can anyone tell me the differences in these items. Some are on E bay for silly money with a Toyota sticker attached and others are available for around £60.
Is it just dealer prices or does the quality suffer on the cheaper ones?
ManicMark
Try and get a phone number from them & find out where they are made, if its China I think I would give it a miss the last thing you want is one snaping on you, £400 cheaper is really tempting, £60 each is a more realistic price & if it was a Ford or VW part it would only be around that anyway, so they could be OK, Let us know how you get on.

I enquired at my local motor factor (Quantoc), and they can supply Blueprint upper control arms for the GS for about 60 pounds.

I have used Blueprint spares before. No problems with them.
It would be interesting to know if both the original and pattern parts come off the same line.

I'm new to the LS but not to Lexus. It seems that the front suspension is a weak point as well as the one on the GS.
ManicMark
Its not so much its a weak point, the fact is is its a 2 tonne car so 10 years isn't bad, my last car an Omega gets through bottom wishbones every 2 years,Audi a4s eat them a mate in Germany has to replace his every year ( he aint impressed).
Let us know how you get on ta Mark
