I'm pleased to announce the inaugral Lexus Owners Club Christmas Party!

Held on 6th December, we have booked The National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, as a venue. Well used to hosting corporate events and events for the motortrade, they will be treating us to:

* 3-course menu, and crackers, hats etc
* DJ/Disco
* Plentiful bar open 'til late
* Discounted rooms at a local, very nice, hotel

As an added service to LOC members, we shall be organising security to ensure our pride and joys stay safe.

The price for the LOC Christmas Party is £35 per person. Hotel rooms are available at £60 for a single and £70 for a double room.

We are now taking deposits to secure your place at the party and, if needed, the hotel room. The deposit for the party is £20 per person (non-refundable After Aug 31st). Please post here if you are likely to require a hotel room.

All are welcome! Please come along and help us celebrate a successful year for the Lexus Owners Club.

Announcement to be made soon :)
Steve
I dont think members realise the importance that we get your responce as soon as possible. if we do not get a certain amount of number before the end of august then the whole Xmas party is toast!

Can I ask for at least some feedback please as this really is taking alot of our time to try and organise it for you.

if we don't get enough feedback from you guys then we shall not be organising any more parties.

thanks for listeing!

:)

I always said I'd be there. as I have not been able to sign up the new gold member details I have not even bothered trying any other forms... But What are the odds that I would pass up the chance to try out my 'fro with a DJ?

Slim (which I will be by then!) to None! (like the balance of my bank account!)

Steve, if you have not cancelled this yet let me know and I'll bank transfer the £20 to you... from my non existant funds...

Poor is the new Rich! (cos the tax f :tsktsk: king man is everywhere! :shifty: )

:zee:
Steve
lozzy mate... we will still organise something.. but i dont wanna put 2K on my ***** as we could not cancel after the 31st.. but i will try and get something sorted.

funny.. last year i had probs getting the party sorted too!
Loz
bet you had a blast last year though....

Part of relectuance might be that work do's might be on same day or other things that people feel obliged to attend and would have to take precidence of the preferable LOC dinner... know what I mean.. but I am keeping the 6th for you, baby!

dang, I'm too funky for maself...

:zee:

I was up for going, its just that the guests I'd asked if they would like to go I was waiting for them to come back to me.

Claire G
I am due to cancel this Christmas party as there hasn't been as much interest as we'd hoped.

I'll leave the thread going until Friday lunchtime, then will pull the plug if the interest levels (and cheque deposits!) haven't gone up.

Thanks,
Claire
