Just a quick question - the cars going in for its 40,000 mile service in a week and I was wondering if it needs a brake fluid change - it's a November 2004 54-plate IS300. What do people recommend and do they use DOT4 fluid? Thanks

I believe it says on the cap what fluid.

Though i've drained all mine and replaced it with 5.1

its recomended every 20,000 miles or two years which ever is first.
