i was wondering how does the LSD on the sport is200 compares to any aftermarket ones.
thanks
Monster-Mat
the factory LSD is a Torsen torque sensing type, most aftermarket are mechanical friction clutch type
Asi
so what is the difference mate?
edeath
I imagine getting a Sport LSD from a breaker will be significantly cheaper than buying an aftermarket one.

Aftermarket LSD ->

(+) stable performance
(-) more wear. You will need at some time service.

IS200 Torsen type LSD ->

(-) variable performance depending on factors as oil temperature for example
(+) practically no more wear than any conventional differential
