No sat nav..
[quote name='Dodgydave' post='658304' date='Apr 20 2009, 12:40 PM']Hi,
It will depend on what year your car is or more specifically what head unit you have fitted. If its an early head unit with the CD slot at the bottom, no. 13902, then it probably won't work.
When my head unit came up with error 3 I bought an external 6 CD changer, a genuine Toyota one, off ebay. But I found that it wouldn't work with my head unit. It would appear that allthough the earlier head unit has the socket on the back to plug an external disc changer or mini disk in it has not been fully implemented. I think this is the same reason why people with this model head unit haven't been able to get the Grom Audio adaptor to work.
If you have the newer model head unit then this should work fine, even if you have the sat nav it should still work but you will need a 'Y' connector to allow you to connect both the sat nav and the new mini disc player.
I hope this helps.
