Hi all,

Has anyone updated there sat nav to latest maps? If so, has the update added any new functionality? i.e. navigate to post code.

I have the DVD version and the latest maps is PZ485-X01EU-08 at around £150. Is it worth the money, as it is not greatest sat nav I have used or should I use the money and get myself a TomTom?

On a final note, I have found this on eBay.

Will this work in Lexus IS, I think I have a version 1 system.

I would like to know this to as i am looking to update my dvd sat nav and want to know whether there is post code support. I have heard however that the frozen menus whilst moving are a thing of the past though.

Will the sat nav disks work from the new GS450H or not does anyone know?

As in the other thread it won't work - the part in the disc number where it says X01 shows which generation nav unit it is. The IS200 has the 01 nav unit, the GS has the 05 nav unit in it.

there will be no post code support it will just be the same just put the street address --its just the same thing except a new and updated map--i have the 2007-2008 which i hve bought 148. but if any one has a copy tof 2009 would be great --
