On my IS, the jack rattles about in its bracket and doesnt seem to be tied down with anything. I'm guessing there's sposed to be a threaded rod or something to bolt it down. What part am I missing?

can you not just open it up a bit to hold it in place?

My last car had a bolt that went all the way through and clamped it to the chassis, there looked like there was a hole so I was expecting the same thing. Thank you!
Rob
just open the jack a little so its tighht in thebracket - u may also have a small foam rubber block at one end to act as a cushion
