pressed key fob button
thought car was nice and secure
my daughter forgets her purse
runs back to unlocked car
opens door gets purse
look of puzzlement on my face
daughter says her door wasnt shut properly
realise that alarm wont set if door not shut properly
realise must pay more attention to only signal of alarm set= quick flash of indicators

even a ****** beeps once or twice (edited due to once owning a ****** )

If I try and lock my GS with any of the doors open slightly, it beeps. Maybe it's one of those settings that a dealer can tweak for you.

door wasnt exactly open ,still had to use handle to open

will see if lexus know any more

I actually like that, I always check to see if the lights flash so I know its alarmed and I know if they don't flash one of the doors isn't shut.

I think this is much better then just flashing the lights and pretending all is well when infact one of the doors isn't shut properly.

A beep would just be tacky! well unless it only happened when one of the doors wasn't shut.

hit the button presume all locked up
the blindness doesnt really help either

I'ts exactly the same mod but at the time i had mine done
i did'nt know about Geoffers post
plus i know geoffers is still fine tuning his,or is it perfected now

I've had no probs with mirrors closing when opening boot/playing with door lock function

Plus i'm not that clever with electrics/electronics it was done for me
