Hi,
anyone knows any decents TOMS websites. I want to check out the difference between that and the Altezza. I know it,s 280 BHP, and it,s got uprated springs etc but any other differences.
Cheers

they leak oil ..........alot
the clutches are to refind for Uk road use, there a full blown race clutch
there terrible on fuel
but dam fast..........
by the way thats only the turbocharged toms cars which are 280bhp and therefore are called TOMS 280'S
there is a non-turbo'd Toms car.....but its just an Altezza with a Toms body kit.
the real turbocharged TOM'S cars only come in white, there were a couple of black specials aswell but 99% are white, with Volk rims...for racing, and toms rims for the Homologation cars
they were built for the TOM'S-Netz Altezza Cup
now its just the Netz Altezza cup
TOM'S Racing website...........its in Japanese
there is a company in Gold that sells TOM'S products.
its actually TOM'S Altezza's that i based the look of my car on, so much so, that, thats why i ordered a white IS200............and you dont see many white is200's

cheers Supercharged. I suspected it would drink alot of fuel but oil leak?
am on the site now. So I assume TOMS don't do their race cars for private use like IVO and Impreza?
So the only alternative is the TTE supercharged?

you can import TOM'S cars, but what you have to realise is they will be:
expensive
ex-race cars
and heavily used
most will come with no history at all.........
its easier to buy an Altezza and Turbocharge it......although the exclusiveness of a genuine TOMS Altezza is on par, if your prepared to put up with its quirks.
i looked into getting a TOMS car a year or so ago .......no one could even find one for me
as most are still being raced, and the few that have passed into private hands.......dont want to sell

true, when thgey are heavily raced, you would fine yourself replacing almost every part after a year of ownership.
but as you mentioned, whether the thought of being in that exclusive club outweighs the risks is another thing.
funny how man gets used to speed so quickly. when I got my tezza, it always sucked me back into my seat when i hit the power band. the roar from the HKS hiper muffler, and the surge was lovely, but you get used to it, and you think of moving on.
Think I will stick to it

as i said Teddy, The options from here on are Turbocharge it....
HKS do, do a kit, but i think for the most bhp straight out the box i would suggest the Blitz kit
i know what you mean about getting used to power, thats why i went for the 2jz-gte conversion........after having the supercharger fitted for ....a year
lets hope i dont get bored or the GTE lump

if you get bored with that, then you need to get a rocket.
TTE are based near the Rhine valley, right? Koln, Dortmund area? What would you recommend, Turocharged, or supercharged?

TTE are based in KOLN i am actually going there, next month, to look at some parts to go into a 3s-ge engine
i would recomend turbocharge it, its a proven route with the engine
i do know there is a supercharger out for the 3s-ge, but ive never heard of anyone with it......so cannot comment
however superchargers are generally more expensive, but kinder to the engine..........and last longer

Auto? Nah. let,s leave that for the lazy ones. I like to make the engine scream a bit.
Mine has been tuned a bit so it,s got a bit more horses than the standard altezza. HKS induction, stiff suspension, and the HKS exhaust for as start.
The TTE exhibition is in october?
