The on screen display shows the traction battery charge level, 8 wide bars either lit or unlit depending on charge.

What is the meaning of the 4 smaller bars directly above that; with the small '+' and '-' sign on each side?

They have always been dark with no change whenever I've looked.

Are you talking about the bit in grey? I think that's just a picture of a battery

I agree.It is a graphic.

Ah I see, and I thought something wasn't working. Seems obvious since I've been told.

Now I'm wondering why they didn't put 'WHEEL' next to the image of the wheel.
