Hello guys,
What does the switch marked ECT and switches between PWR and NORM do.
I may seem a bit dim but without a handbook it's hard to identify what this switch actually does while driving.
My car is a GS300 Legato 1997.This switch is on the centre console.
Thanks, Colin

As above, PWR makes the gearbox more sporty, lets engine rev higher before upshifts, shifts down earlier, sharpens up throttle response.

Not on a series I because it doesn't have an electronic throttle. Just alters gear changes. On a series II onwards with electronic throttle it can alter the throttle response although I'm not sure it actually does, snow mode certainly does though - that really dampens the throttle.
