ricky_is200
thats a standard colour isn't it? Seen a few as well.

I believe it is a standard colour for Nissan's - I can't imagine the elderly couple driving the car had paid for it to be done as a modification!!

Thinking about the recent Scooby postings, how people were divided on the appeal or not, and how those who like the effect are prepared to spend many hundreds of pounds to achieve the effect which is in the standard Nissan paint range.......

It's a funny old world :hehe:

Don't TVR have a similar paint as standard?
Mitch

Yup....it's a standard colour option for Nissan. You also see a few Almera's with the green based colour as well.

Regarding TVR......when buying a new car from TVR, it is built to order (i.e. they build your car when you order it), so, they will paint it in ANY colour you wish. Of course, they do offer their standard choice of colours as well (which still look damn nice). The pearlescent paint option on a new Cerbera is over £2k I think, so you dont see alot of them around. As standard the car comes with very little (like a BMW) and so things like decent stereo, air con, cd changer are all options - so unless you're loaded, not many can afford the £2k for the paint job after the "necessities" have been put on the original price tag.

I personally like the colour.......just not on a micra !! :crybaby:
